Six-Month Programme

This comprises:

  • Two, face-to-face, phone or on-line, one-hour sessions per month, for six months

​

  • Email support between sessions

​

  • Simple, healthy and delicious recipes

​

  • Handouts specific to your needs and goals

​

  • Workshops, cooking demonstrations, supermarket/health food shop tours, kitchen makeovers and more

What makes me able to help you?

​

Whatever dietary and lifestyle changes you want to make, I aim to support you every step of the way. â€‹I understand first-hand what it is like to have to change your diet and give up certain things for good. Having struggled with my coeliac disease diagnosis eight years ago and lacked good support in the process, I am able to guide you with compassion and understanding. Making changes can be challenging, overwhelming and frustrating, but through my coaching techniques, you will take control and we can work together not only on your diet, but on other areas of your life which also nourish you, such as your relationships, career, spirituality and exercise.

In my Six-Month Programme we discuss what is on your plate and beyond, setting goals that you have chosen to work towards, in small, manageable steps. It is by no means just about nutrition and exercise. The Programme is tailored to you and your individual needs and enables you to reboot your health and re-balance your life. No client is ever the same. One person could be struggling with weight gain and an unfulfilling career, while another could be in a challenging relationship and be suffering from persistent sugar cravings. Others may be unable to achieve their goals they set themselves and feel like a failure. There are many who do not sleep well and would love to clean up their diet and change their hectic lifestyle, but just don't know where to begin. Whatever the issues, I will never tell you what to do because I do not have all the answers. I will not try to fix you because you are not broken. Instead, I will provide a safe space for you to draw deep into your own wisdom and find the answers yourself. I will be your guide and ally, supporting you to finally achieve your chosen goals. It is not about following a list of orders or advice and never about deprivation and denial. However, I will encourage you to move out of your comfort zone and push the boundaries, so you can achieve things you never believed possible.

In my Gluten-Free Six-Month Programme, for newly-diagnosed coeliacs, coeliacs, those with non-coeliac gluten sensitivity and for those caring for these people, we discuss the importance of healing the gut and regaining your former vitality and strength with fermented foods, pre-biotics, pro-biotics and other healing, nutritious foods. I advise you on the many pitfalls of a gluten-free diet and many other diets and how to cope with parties, eating out, travel, going on holiday, and staying with family and friends. With first-hand experience of coeliac disease, my nutritional health coaching training, love of cooking and sharing great food, I offer tips on sourcing and shopping for well-priced gluten-free essentials and how to prepare and cook delicious, healthy, gluten-free and grain-free meals with lots of recipes that really work. I put to rest the fears of never eating your favourite foods again and help to advise you on slightly healthier options, where you do not have to compromise on taste.
