Work with Me
I practise a holistic approach to health and wellness, showing you how all areas of your life are connected.

-
Does stress at work or in your relationships cause you to overeat?

-
Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising?

-
Are you frustrated because you just can’t seem to get past certain obstacles in order to reach your goals or full potential?

As we work together, we will look at how all the different parts of your life affect your health.

Together we define what you value most from your well-being. We will use these visions to motivate specific goals that bring you closer to where you want to be. As your coach, I will not prescribe a diet for you, but we will explore why some foods make you feel better than others and how to strategically use that feedback. Together we will co-create your health goals within reasonable time frames and actionable objectives, so you know exactly what you are working towards.

I help all my clients to make lifestyle changes through health-promoting methods that produce tangible, lasting results. Helping you to develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improves your energy, balance, health, and happiness. I also specialise in supporting you if you have been diagnosed with coeliac disease or non-coeliac gluten sensitivity. I help you deal with all the challenges that can come up and together we make it into a positive experience.

What makes me an effective Nutritional Health Coach?

-
Coaching skills. Lifestyle habits are very hard to change, so you need a health coach who is highly skilled in behavioural change coaching techniques. This comprises core coaching competences and motivational interviewing. Training should include supervised practice, not just presentations about how to coach.

-
Health knowledge. Health coaches should take a personalised, holistic approach, which addresses the fact that everything is inter-connected and that it is necessary to balance our physical, mental, spiritual and social needs. They should adhere to exacting standards of nutritional knowledge, a basic understanding of anatomy and physiology, plus knowledge of how to manage or improve sleep, self-care, stress management, toxins and movement.

The Institute for Integrative Nutrition is an approved training school of the UK Health Coaches Association; www.ukhealthcoaches.com. They set and maintain quality standards with a rigorous assessment process for all courses. Only those with sufficient behaviour-changing coaching skills training together with evidence-based nutrition and/or lifestyle instruction are approved.
